Kitesurf beginner course
Learn kitesurfing from scratch with a safe and structured beginner kitesurf course designed for complete beginners.
During one intensive course day we cover theory, safety, kite control and practical water exercises. The goal of the course is to take you towards water starts with the board, but progression is personal and depends on conditions, water confidence and individual learning speed.
Course Structure – From Theory to Water Starts
The beginner kitesurf course follows the official IKO progression plan and corresponds to IKO Level 1 and 2. We keep theory efficient and spend most of the course in the water with practical training.
Wind, Safety & Equipment
We start with wind theory, safety systems, risk assessment, spot checks and how to safely handle the equipment.
Kite Control & Body Drag
You train kite steering, power control, relaunch, body dragging and directional control directly in the water.
Water Start Attempts
Once you have control of the kite, we continue towards board control and water start attempts with the board.
